Partners we do Business with -
Providing Value to their Business

The basis for long-term and successful business relationships is providing value to the customers and the system integrators B4E is working with. Only if our business partners find confirmation of what B4E is promising with regard to its project services and, with even importance, with regard to the capabilities of B-oo-levard® we can achieve mutually fruitful relationships. This means for B4E: more than just accomplishing ...

Of course, the main task for B4E is to provide and implement its real-time and truly convergent charging, rating and billing system. In light of the vast capabilities of B-oo-levard® the benefits for our customers are multitude and immense, ranging from creating any tariff plan for every service and product in any manner for any customer up to achieving organisational efficiencies due to its SelfAssembly Process and its True Convergence. B4E's overall goal is to support the customer in achieving and maintaining a unique leading role in its market (as much as charging, rating and billing play a role) while reducing the billing related cost to a minimum level.

System integrators and IT service providers form a vital part in B4E's approach to the market by offering proven integration capabilities. This is evident in the implementation and support of new technologies as used by B4E. For system integration partners, B4E offers true value in customer relationships through vendor independence: the customer is free to choose the best systems available based on his own criteria.

Bulgarian Telecommunication Company

Last year, the Bulgarian government sold the majority 65 percent stake in the Bulgarian Telecommunication Company (BTC) - with currently about 2.5 million customers the country's largest fixed-line telecom - to Viva Ventures Holding GmbH, a Vienna-based unit of U.S. equity fund Advent International. In January, the minority package was sold off at the Sofia stock exchange to a number of smaller investors.

Along with the privatization BTC has undergone strongest changes, e.g. with the digitization of the network. Due to that and the increasing market requirements the billing process needed to be renovated as well. Within just 15 weeks Capgemini and B4E could implement the truly convergent Charging, Rating, and Billing system B-oo-levard® for all of BTCs fixed line customers for voice and Internet using pulse-based communication, ISDN, and DSL.

In addition, tariff simulations have been conveyed by th Capgemini/B4E team during the implementation, in order to support BTC in the approval process for BTCs new pricing schemas.
