B4E has developed B-oo-levard^® based on superior technology while the platform has been provided by our technology partners. And of course, we prefer to implement B-oo-levard® using these technologies. However, B-oo-levard® can run in different production environments with different hardware and/or using direct interfaces or different middleware.

The point for B4E to establish co-operation with those providing leading edge technology is: to demonstrate being a part of this community. This in turn paves the way to further improve our products by using the technologies and know how of our partners.

The benefits for our customers are obvious: Not only one can expect established business relationships with these globally acting firms on one side and B4E on the other. This way network operators and service providers using B-oo-levard® have an assured investments in their critical processes related to billing. With the BEA WebLogic Server best-of-breed implementation of Java, B4E was able to design and build the complete B-oo-levard® product in a very short period of time. The BEA WebLogic Server provided the framework that gave a jump start. It let us concentrate on higher level concepts rather than developing every capability from scratch.

Even though we are not using anymore the BEA WebLogic Server within B-oo-levard®, we continue to regard BEA as a valuable partner.
